Raised in Buffalo, NY, in an entrepreneurial home environment, Wendelyn was influenced later in life by her father’s career as the founder of a custom software development firm, whose first projects provided computerized payroll services to businesses and government agencies.

After college, graduate school and three years as an officer on class-C tall ships, Wendelyn spent fifteen years as a high school educator and higher education administrator before starting her business, Quick$tart, LCC, in 1996.

Located in Stowe, Vermont, Quick$tart is committed to helping businesses simplify bookkeeping tasks and gain access to valuable financial information.

Wendelyn holds several Intuit certifications—each a verification of her extensive knowledge of QuickBooks and its related products, including:

• Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor since the inception of the program in 1998
• QuickBooks Point of Sale since 2003
• Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor since the inception of the program in 2006
• QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions since 2008
• Intuit Solution Provider since 2008

Wendelyn has worked with more than 500 individuals and small businesses to set up and maintain QuickBooks Financial, Point of Sale and Enterprise Solutions software. Her clientele ranges from for-profit and non-profit organizations, with fifty or more employees and revenues of 1 to 5 million dollars, to solo practitioners. Wendelyn works with clients throughout Vermont and New Hampshire to ensure that they have timely, relevant, and reliable financial data.

She holds the following degrees:

• Masters of Science in Organization & Management, Antioch/New England
• Bachelor of Arts in Geology, University of Vermont
• Bachelor of Science in Education,  University of Vermont

In 1996 Wendelyn helped establish the Vermont Women’s Fund in support of economic and social equality of women and girls in Vermont. She is member of the Vermont Women Business Owners Network, the Vermont Consultant’s Network, the Vermont Venture Network, and the Lamoille Valley Chamber of Commerce.

As a professional software trainer, a member of the QuickBooks ProAdvisor’s Program, an educator, women’s business owner, and former bookkeeper and financial manager, Wendelyn works in partnership with her clients to help them get the most out of QuickBooks.
